Quick-Connect Drill Bit
The method for placing the quick-connect drill bit is as follows: first, push the telescopic mechanism towards the end; after the drill bit is fully seated, release the telescopic mechanism.
You can remove the drill bit in the same manner.
Cannulated Drill
The cannulated drill has a central hole for the insertion of a pin. This drill is attached to the drill using the chuck, and the pin enters the drill through a hole located at the back of the motor housing on the drill.
Standard Drill
The placement of the drill bit is done using the chuck.
Connect the chuck to the telescopic drill. In this case, first loosen the chuck with the appropriate wrench, insert the drill bit into the chuck, and then tighten the chuck with the corresponding wrench. Similarly, loosen the chuck with the wrench to remove the drill bit.
Note: After inserting the drill bit, pull it outward by hand to ensure it is seated correctly.
Changing the Drill Rotation Direction
If you turn the direction change switch towards R (right), the drill will rotate clockwise. If you turn this switch towards L (left), the drill will rotate counterclockwise.
Troubleshooting the Drill
- If the drill bit is not correctly positioned, carefully follow the placement procedure.
- If the device’s efficiency decreases, check the battery in a timely manner and fully charge the battery before performing surgery.
- If the handpiece and its accessories do not function properly, do not attempt to repair the tool yourself. First, consult the technical support department of Qamat Tarim Kala, and if the issue is not resolved, refer the tool (if possible, with the battery) to the factory or representative for repair.
Note: The drill, like the saw, should not be used in the presence of flammable gases.
(Even the leakage of flammable anesthetic gases in the operating room can pose a risk.)
Important Safety Tips
- Ensure that the drill bit is correctly placed in its position.
- If the handpiece does not work during testing, try using a different battery.
- The battery should be removed from the handpiece after the surgical procedure and should not be placed inside the autoclave, as this will cause it to malfunction.
- The device does not affect electromagnetic interference.
