Sterilization

  • The handpiece can be sterilized inside an autoclave using steam or formalin. Be sure to use methods accepted by the Ministry of Health.
  • The surface of the handpiece can be cleaned with gas or alcohol. Note that the sterilization temperature should not exceed 135 degrees Celsius.
  • The saw and drill are used for orthopedic or cardiac surgeries, and the handpiece should not be sterilized in the autoclave more than twice a day; otherwise, its lifespan will be reduced.
  • The charger and battery are not sterilizable, and avoid washing the battery with water.

Note: The device does not affect electromagnetic interference.

Note: Before sterilizing and cleaning the handpiece, ensure that the battery is not left inside the compartment. Please be aware that the battery cannot be sterilized at high temperatures and pressures.
