In this ceremony, which was held in December 1403, the best researchers and technologists of the university’s faculties, the top 1% and 2% researchers in the world, the country’s scientific leader, and the selected researcher of Tabriz University of Technology (Sahand) were honored.

Also, the top faculty members in connection with industry and the companies and industries that had the most cooperation with Sahand University of Technology were honored, of which Qamat Tarman Kala Company was one of these companies.

Other parts of the ceremony included honoring the organizers of national and international conferences, technological and knowledge-based companies located in the university’s growth center, and top faculty members in festivals, authors of top books and articles, and selected doctoral graduates.

Dr. Fatehifar, the university’s president, referring to the existence of 5 research institutes, research centers, and various laboratories, announced the university’s readiness to expand its relationship with regional industries to solve the challenges and problems of the industrial sector.

Dr. Falahat, the Vice President of Research and Technology at Sahand University of Technology, also presented a report on the latest status of research projects, the statistics of articles published by the university in foreign journals, and the university’s rank in international rankings, and said: Increasing the university’s reputation and financial credibility, upgrading the university’s rank, increasing the employment of graduates from the current 30% to 40%, research based on smart methods, and having a practical impact in solving society’s challenges are among the university’s short-term plans.

Engineer Paydar, Head of the Industries Commission of the Tabriz Chamber of Commerce, also considered the development of industry-university relations essential for the modernization and promotion of technology in industries, and added: “Our industry has the technology of 40 years ago, and the production value and cost price are not competitive in the world, so special attention should be paid to research and technology in the industry.”
